Mathematics Department was set up in 1978 and started the undergraduate Education with SouthChinaNormalUniversity jointly in 1997. There are 25 faculty (1 professor and 10 associate professors) and 453 students now with 4 teaching offices including Theory of Functions, Algebra and Geometry, Mathematics Education and Information science. There is one specialty (Mathematics and Applied Mathematics) and 2 training directions (Mathematics Education and Information science)
